Drought was once a part of Trimerica when it was known as America - before the war that unified the three nations in the region. It was a successful campaign by then America because it galvanized the land - but at a steep price. America chose to test its new top-secret weather controlling device over its own nation; if the Americans could control the weather then they could potentially wipe out their enemies with unnatural disasters; but the experiment backfired - and the eastern portion of America began to experience bizarre weather patterns that eventually caused severe drought in that part of the nation. Trimerica took in as many survivors as she could, forcing the ones it couldn’t to birth their own nation, Drought.
