Artica is the second oldest nation in Pangea behind Congo and is home to one of two races of hybrid giants. History states two hundred Bene Elohim, sons of Elohim The Most High, descended upon the land when it was a lush oasis and still part of Congo, but a near extinction level event (ELE) changed everything. At one point in history it was almost twice the size the icy tundra is today - until a calamitous earthquake broke off almost half of its landmass then pushed it a thousand miles out to sea to its south creating Iceland - where their somewhat smaller Nephilim cousins live. The supernatural event also caused the formation of the Artic mountains, and is the reason Artica was reduced to a block of ice.
